Vintage Art Deco rolled gold metal and mother of pearl brooch with the name Rose inscribed c1930s. This type of brooch was typically given to a girl from her sweetheart, often a soldier or sailor before he left for duty, as a token of affection. The name Rose is mounted in a rolled gold wire on a mother of pearl base and secured with a rolled gold open 'c' clasp. This piece in in good vintage condition and measures approximately 4.2cms in length and 2.2cms at the widest point.
