A pretty brooch with enamelled scene with hand painting of a romantic couple. Marked Limoges France to the back.   Limoges in France has been the centre of production for quality porcelain since the 18th century. There are many manufacturers in the area, and many of the brooches reflect the romantic Rococo style.  Brooches from the region have been highly collectable for many years.
